Step through our front door and into an explosion of style, colour and lushness…..all beautifully displayed under a centuries old tin ceiling. We have designed a store to excite your senses and thrill you at every turn….and most do agree!

We have scoured the corners of the world and collected many items that are quite unique and different than the rest. Be assured this is not “just another store” filled with the sameness that is prevalent throughout the retail scene. We get our passion from finding unknown designers, that are producing great art, if you will, that are always pushing the boundaries and changing the design scene . The majority of the goods are made with fine materials , yarns and fabrics, and we try not to buy from off shore factories that cater to the mainstream market.

re:treat is your destination for jewellery, bags and scarves……with hats and sweaters making a strong contender for the limelight. Sweater wools from New Zealand, Bolivia and Ecuador…….Alpaca from Peru and hats from Canadian designers in funky and fun compliments, for your style.

The jewellery is not to be missed……..bold, dramatic, and in every colour and metal imaginable. Canadian designers and foreign designers as well……..all with a special flair that is guaranteed to garner compliments with every wearing.

Scarves that are amazing in colour and presence……..silks and cottons from India, wools and alpaca and always in fun, rich styling’s…….a scarf is the perfect accessory to change your outfit from plain to amazing in a flash.

We also have added some men’s pieces to keep your man cool……..T-shirts and sweaters, jewellery, hats ,scarves and bags…..after all men search for that defining item as well……..

We have collected some novelty items as well that are great for yourself or as a gift……soaps, jewellery rolls, wallets, and other little finds that have us excited, just finding them.

What you’ll notice upon returning to re:treat is……….the change………it’s always evolving and changing………….so things will always look new and fresh and different than before with a fun twist or rich leanings.

Also, you’ll notice that re:treat is “beautiful pieces at beautiful prices”……..many clients say they pay more elsewhere for the same items…… we believe that fair prices keep you coming back for more……but you’ll have to experience that for yourself and see the difference.

Elora is not far from the major centers but a wonderful day trip to unwind, take in a meal, do some shopping and meet up with the girlfriends. There are lots of B&B’s for overnight and many attractions to keep you occupied………The Arts Center…….studios to browse…….. and wonderful shops to explore …..the Grand River Conservation area for camping, hiking and kayaking and tubing and picnics……..and always a great place to bring your dog as they are welcome too!
